Our Mission is to produce top quality, Licensed Manicurists with exceptional knowledge of the nails from a scientific and clinical level in order to obtain gainful employment and make a difference in the lives of their clients.
Our Story
After receiving a BA in communication/speech & language pathology, and AAB in accounting, I knew my purpose in life was not fulfilled. I wanted to share knowledge with others and see students succeed in their profession. I decided to learn a trade that I have been doing since I was a little girl. I wanted to learn the who, what, where, why, and how they (nail technician) do it and I did it.
I have been a license advance manicurist (nail technician/manager) for 9 years and a license instructor for 3 years. In 2015, I expanded my career as a certified MediNail advanced nail technologist, which demonstrates a higher level of skills in the study of nails. My educational training was taught through the MediNail Learning Center by Dr. Robert Spalding DPM. I am currently pursuing a certificate as a medical nail technician whose role will be to assist a podiatrist with foot disorders and disease treatment. I am writing to outline the features of my business. I believe that I possess the temperament and experience to excel in this business. I have spent this year working fulltime as an instructor while researching the students and clients needs in this business. I have a 98% state board passing rate for the students I have taught through theory and practical. My previous students are all employed at a Spa, Salon, Barber shop, or self-employed. My classroom was always at capacity and students patiently waited on a waiting list to be taught by me. I believe I can help students grow and become productive professionals in the field.
Rozell’s Nails Academy wants to provide the community with an institution of future nail technicians that targets all socioeconomic standing and is a model for the industry nationally. This models the Rozell’s Nails Academy’s objective, placing an emphasis on personal as well as environmental wellness. It is this objective that brings together the school.
